Instructions

Step 1

It is forbidden to bathe the puppy until exactly two weeks have passed since the last of all vaccinations. Do not neglect this warning, because the immunity of a small pet has not yet matured, and the body is still too sensitive to drafts and not enough warm water. Do not bathe your puppy if he is under two months old.

Step 2

When the puppy begins to grow up, play more naughty and, accordingly, get dirty more, do not rush to immediately drag the prankster to the bathroom. After a slushy walk, rinse the puppy's paws and comb the coat. And if you need to wash the anal area, then do it with a terry cloth dipped in warm water, and then smear with baby cream or sea buckthorn oil. Dogs should not be bathed more than once a month. The fact is that the remains of the shampoo dry out the skin, and this can lead to itching. Shampoos wash off the natural shine of the coat, it dims noticeably.

Step 3

If you still can't do without bathing, pour water heated to a temperature of 35 degrees into a basin. Just in case, plug the puppy's ears with cotton swabs - they will protect against water ingress. In order not to scare the animal and not to catch a cold, do everything quickly, but not abruptly. Slow down the water in the shower and wash your puppy up to the neck. Never pour water directly onto your head. Then apply a special shampoo to the coat, massage and rinse thoroughly. If your pet is a long-haired dog, apply a conditioner to the coat and rinse with warm water.

Step 4

Do not bathe your puppy alone; ask someone for help. After all, from fear, he can escape from his hands, get hurt. If you decide to bathe your puppy right in the bathroom, then again, for safety reasons, it is recommended to lay a rubber mat. Wrap it in a terry towel immediately after washing. You may need several of them until the coat dries. You can use a hairdryer, but it is better not to abuse such drying - it also dries out the skin.
