Each species has its own preparation: for example, a greyhound is intended for hunting foxes and hares; dachshunds hunt animals that live in burrows; with a husky, you can hunt squirrels, birds and wild boars - this is a universal breed.

At the first stage, the puppy is trained in almost the same way as the service dogs. Up to 7 months with a puppy, you can visit a nearby playground and train with everyone. The dog will learn discipline and obey the owner, following all his commands.

Commands represent a variety of events that can occur on any day or during the hunt. All commands: “to me”, “to lie down”, “to sit”, “to the leg” and others, the owner shows with gestures or pronounces with a voice. Some commands are pronounced on the whistle. During the hunt, if the dog is too far from the person, whistle gestures are used.

The dog should only be hunted after eight months of age. First, she needs to get used to the smells and sounds, and then after a few minutes she can start training.

The beginning of learning to hunt must necessarily begin with getting used to the shot. The hunter must pick up the time when the hunting dog is distracted by something, and at this moment he shoots into the air. If the puppy does not pay attention to the shot, then you can approach him, but if he starts to run away or hide, he must be stroked and shot, as far as possible from him.

The methods of training dogs are varied, but there are main rules that hunters always adhere to:

- only the owner trains and walks the dog constantly;

- you should not train the dog until it is eight months old, and only after it has passed obedience lessons;

- no other dogs should be present during the hunt, and keep your pet on a long leash when training;

- do not overload the dog during the first lessons.

These simple rules are considered essential for teaching hunting dog commands.
