The Echmiadzin Monastery houses the main cathedral of Armenia, which is one of the oldest Christian churches in the world. The cathedral was under construction for several centuries, then underwent many reconstructions. Now the temple is majestic and beautiful, inside there is a marble altar, the floor is also lined with marble slabs, graceful paintings of the walls and domes fascinate.

Geghard is the most visited cultural and historical site in Armenia. The monastery was founded in the 4th century near a life-giving spring located in a cave. On the territory of the monastery there are many relics, the main of which is the spear with which the centurion pierced the body of Jesus Christ. The monastery itself got its name thanks to this Christian relic, because Geghard is translated from Armenian as a spear.
