The process of changing plumage is influenced not only by the season, but also by the type of bird, temperature and humidity. Parrots do not react so sharply to molt, their condition practically does not change. Insectivores and birds of prey can lose their plumage due to stress, do not take your pet too often.

In mammals, molt occurs twice a year - in spring and winter. In the spring, the animal gets rid of excess hair that did not allow it to freeze in winter.
