There are municipal animal shelters in every city. Animals caught on the street, aggressive or old dogs fall into them. On the territory of the shelter there are aviaries in which animals are kept. Food in the shelters is rather meager, and little meat is provided. To somehow brighten up the life of the animals at the shelter, volunteers come. They walk with the dogs, trying to find new owners for them. If the animal is old or sick, then after a couple of months of life in the shelter, the staff will euthanize it. There is not enough space in the enclosures, and new animals arrive almost every day. If the dog is dear to you and you are worried about its future fate, then it is better not to give it to an animal shelter. Sometimes it's better to live outside than starving in a small cold cage.

Private shelters funded by charitable organizations could be a good alternative to municipal shelters. There are only a few private shelters in the country and they are usually overcrowded because they have a small area and limited financial resources. You can arrange an animal in such a shelter if you contribute some money or buy the necessary food or medicine.
Step 3
You can give the dog to the so-called overexposure. Overexposure is carried out by individuals who take care of the animal for a certain monthly fee. You pay for the maintenance of the dog in full. The amount of monthly payments can start from 3, 5-5 thousand rubles and go up to 7-10 thousand. This amount includes keeping the animal in good conditions, feeding, walking, possible veterinary services and caring for a sick animal, as well as the income of the temporary owner himself. An overexposed animal can live until it finds a new or old owner. Your task will be to actively search for people who want to take the dog into the family.
