Very often, the aquarium is set up so that one side of it is located next to a piece of furniture or a wall, that is, it is partially closed for viewing. In this case, you can close this edge of it with a beautiful backdrop - special photomurals for the aquarium, which will decorate the glass house for your fish.

It is necessary

  • - scotch tape;
  • - roller or old plastic card for smoothing;
  • - liquid soap.

Instructions

Step 1

Before you start decorating the aquarium, it is best to temporarily transfer its inhabitants to another place. It is recommended to fix the background before water is poured, and not after that. In general, wall murals are attached with tape to the edges of the aquarium, but in order to ensure better adhesion to the glass, there are various tricks.

Step 2

The background for the aquarium is glued as follows. Take the background and attach it with small pieces of tape. Then straighten so that not a single air bubble remains. This can be done with a roller, or other items with a flat side can be used. If there is no roller, try using a regular plastic bank card, but it is better to take one that has already expired, otherwise it will suddenly break.

Step 3

Once the background is smoothed out, tape it tightly to the aquarium, applying duct tape from top to bottom. If everything is done carefully, the background will last for a long time, bubbles will not appear.

Step 4

You can use liquid to better bond the background surface to the glass. Some aquarium owners recommend wetting the background with water and only then expelling the air from under it, and then sticking it with tape.

Step 5

Another way to secure the background in place is to use liquid soap. Lubricate the wallpaper with a thin layer and smooth it over the glass of the aquarium. In order not to accidentally touch the edges or corners of the wallpaper, you still need to use scotch tape. Although you can advise other methods, for example, glue. The advantage of scotch tape is that it is relatively easy to remove if you want to attach a different background or get rid of it altogether.
