Christmas tree and decorations
A big danger is the tree. Tinsel and garland lights attract animals. They want to take everything off the tree and gnaw. Such entertainment will inevitably entail a trip to the vet. In the worst case, the pet will need urgent surgery. To protect the animal from unpleasant consequences, place the tree as high as possible, or do not let the pet enter the room where the Christmas tree is.
Festive table
Make sure that the animal does not steal food from the New Year's table. Human everyday food is harmful for a pet, and a holiday treat can even lead to the fact that the animal will eat only medicinal and dietary food all its life. Also, do not give sweets to the animal. They will cause dental problems, and chocolate can cause seizures, if not even fatal.
New Year's fun
New Year's fun does not delight the animals. Most likely, the pet will hide under the sofa. Of course, the animal can be friendly. However, drunk guests are more likely to lose concentration and step on the pet while dancing. Therefore, if possible, it is better to send the cat or dog to a separate room.
Lost pet
According to statistics, most pets are missing on New Year's Eve. This is due to the fact that the dog can get scared of the firecrackers and run away. Therefore, do not take your pet out too late. Walk your dog in the evening and on a leash.
