Due to its ease of use, many owners prefer it over other means. And they are wrong. The collar primarily helps to prevent parasite infestation and is more suitable for dogs with short hair. Another disadvantage is that the collar may chafe or dislike the pet's skin.

Special shampoos effectively destroy fleas the first time, it is enough just to bathe the dog in shampoo, but parasites are not removed forever. Just be careful, all anti-flea shampoos are very harmful as they contain chemicals.
Step 3
Flea sprays are suitable for those animals that are problematic to bathe, for example, a big angry dog. In this case, sprays can be used. Spray on your pet's coat and be careful not to lick yourself until the product is completely dry. The drug is very effective and lasts a very long time. But for long-haired breeds, sprays are not suitable.
Step 4
Anti-flea drops. The tube is designed for the weight of the pet. Drops are applied to the skin in the nape area. The drops provide protection for three to four months.

Intramuscular injection. You need to be very careful with them and use them only if absolutely necessary. Such injections will relieve your pet not only of fleas, but also of ticks and gastric parasites. Remember, do not give injections to small dogs. After all, the injections were designed for large animals.

Once the parasites have been eradicated, care must be taken to ensure that they never return. That's when a collar for short-haired dogs and drops for long-haired dogs will be a good remedy.
