How Fighting Dogs Can't Be Separated

All cynologists and dog breeders unanimously argue that it is not worth intervening in animal fights alone. Moreover, you do not need to do this if the dogs are strangers.

But you also need to be careful with your pet if he gets into a fight. Many dog owners make the same common mistake - they grab the collar and pull the animal towards themselves. The most likely thing that will happen is that you will be severely bitten by your own dog. During a fight, animals follow only instincts, they do not see a beloved master in a person.

Whenever any dog engages in a fight or runs away, it always tries to bite the one who is stopping it! To stay whole and separate the dogs, two skillfully acting people are needed.

How to Separate Fighting Dogs

Ideal scenario for two owners of fighting pets:

1. Everyone grabs his dog by the hind legs. By adopting this position, you will constantly stay as far away from your teeth as possible. Pull animals apart in opposite directions.

2. Do not let go of the dog's legs as long as possible, even if it seemed to you that the pets are no longer in a belligerent mood. If the dog tries to twist and grab your arms, turn its legs in the opposite direction from the head. Let this action resemble some stupid dance, but this way you will remain whole and exhaust the dog.

3. Walk backward in small steps. The dog will be forced to touch its front paws and walk in the same direction. Do not jerk the animal's legs abruptly, otherwise it will hit its jaw.

4. Drag the pet by its hind legs to the place where it can be closed (cage, booth, aviary, another room, car, garage).

Some helpful tips for those who find themselves in a one-on-one dog fight:

1. Turn off emotions, treat the future calmly, as if to work. Dogs, even during a fight, are capable of capturing a person's mood, so do not yell and wave your arms, this can make the animals even more angry.

2. If you do not have a leash with you, follow it. Let the fight continue, but you need the leash at this moment.

3. During the fight, the dogs are occupied exclusively by the rival, therefore, without making any sudden movements, approach them. Try to put the loop from the leash on the dog's thigh. Tighten and drag the dog to an object that can be tied to the leash.

4. All this takes place in a fight, that is, the second dog follows the first. They are still busy with each other, giving you the opportunity to neutralize one participant in the battle. After tying the animal, go to the rear of the other dog and grab it by both hind legs.

5. Drag the second participant of the fight, remembering to twist her body and dodge her teeth. This animal must be securely locked up, as the first dog can get loose from the leash.

6. Untie the tied pet and close it too. Leave the dogs for a while, let them calm down.
