Many animal connoisseurs sometimes faced the need to have a tent for a pet for various occasions, including when entering the markets for an extension, to organize a quarantine place for keeping a pet sick.

In such a case, the idea of creating a tent from improvised means appeared, for this you needed: a large bag, cardboard from a large box, glue, oilcloth, mosquito net or dense tulle, tape for processing the edges, contact tape (Velcro).

Manufacturing process:

We measure each wall of the bag, as well as its bottom. According to the dimensions obtained, we select cardboard, if necessary, we shorten or increase it.

Cut out windows for ventilation on the sides and center of the bag, process the edges with tape. We also cut out the windows in the selected cardboard, glue a mosquito net or dense tulle on the inside, fix it with a second piece of cardboard of the same size. The result is a dense, two-layer wall.

The window in the wall in the center should be large, the result should be similar to an aquarium, it is better to do it in two versions, one with a mesh, the other with a transparent film (winter version or for quarantine).

We glue each finished wall with oilcloth so that it can be processed if it gets dirty. To fix the walls with the bag at the same distance, we place a contact tape (Velcro), so the bag can be detached from the walls as needed and washed without effort.

In our version, since the central wall had circular handles that had to be cut off, it was decided to build up them with an additional Velcro tape, which allows you to close the window with a curtain as needed, and you get an unattended bag.

The tent is ready and already tested, including in the winter on the annex. Due to the fact that it is made of cardboard, it is warm and cozy for pets while waiting for a meeting with their new owners.
