A booth or kennel is a house for a dog, which should be warm, dry, spacious, that is, suitable for all-season living. You need to build it from dry, new lumber. The size of the booth should be made taking into account the size of the dog.

Step 1
Measure the desired height of the bars, install four support legs. Fasten the bars together from the bottom and top. To make the structure more robust, skip the crossbars.
Step 2
The floor must be doubled. To do this, nail a floor board at a distance of 30 cm from the ground from the outside of the structure. Place the booth in a permanent place and nail a plank for the main floor. All this is done on the lower transverse bars previously installed. The booth should be immediately installed in a permanent place for the reason that later it will be very heavy and it will be simply impossible to move it from its place alone.
Step 3
Sheathe the walls from the inside of the booth with a piece of wood. Fasten the insulation material from the outside with battens. Then sheathe the outside of the walls.
Step 4
Nail the ceiling. From the outside, fix the heat-insulating material, a layer of thin plank on it, and only then install the racks on the roof. The roof for the kennel can be made single-slope, double-slope or any other at your discretion.
Step 5
The roof should be covered with iron, slate or tiles. It is unacceptable to cover the roof with soft materials, such as roofing material, since the dog can stand on its hind legs and gnaw the material, which will negatively affect not only the protection of the booth from rain, but also the health of the animal.
Step 6
Before entering the booth, install a canopy to protect it from the sun and rain, and make a large flooring under the canopy for feeding and resting the dog.
Step 7
Cover the whole piece with linseed oil. After the drying oil has completely dried, apply the oil paint in two layers. This will protect the tree from destruction for many years. Everything. The kennel is built. In such a booth, your pet will be warm, cozy and comfortable in any weather, even in severe frosts and snowstorms.
