Gradually, the hamster gets used to the owners, becomes tame, and stops hiding. But if you let the animal run around the apartment, it is better not to leave it unattended. He can chew on wallpaper, furniture, and even taste an electric wire. Therefore, it is better to keep your hamster at home in a spacious cage. And in the summer, you can take him out for a walk, so that he can run to his heart's content there.
