The Don Sphynx is a cat that causes either disgust or love, but leaves no one indifferent. This is an aboriginal cat breed of Russia. This one is distinguished from all other cats by the absolute absence of hair, huge ears and a large number of folds on the bald skin.

If ordinary "woolen" cats are used to marking their territory, then the Don Sphynxes are deprived of this feature. And females' estrus is generally a rare phenomenon.

Cats of this breed eat much more than other cats. This is due to the increased level of heat transfer.

Sphynx kittens are much easier to teach how to walk in the tray than cubs of Persian or Siberian cats.

Don Sphynxes are animals without eyelashes in their eyes. Because of this, they constantly accumulate dirt in the conjunctival sacs. It should be removed with cotton wool or cloth. Other breeds do not have this feature.

Domestic cats are accustomed to outdoor walks, and they are not afraid of the cold at all. With the Don Sphinxes, the opposite is true. They love warmth and are not allowed to walk.

Almost all sphinxes are monogamous. They get used to their master and remain faithful to him for life. In contrast, other breeds of cats very quickly forget their old master and become attached to a new one.
